After Justin Gaethje defeated Ilia Topuria in a TKO to win the UFC Lightweight Championship belt during UFC Freedom 250 in June, the promotion company travels from Washington, D.C. to Las Vegas for UFC 329 and the return of Conor McGregor in July.
For the main event, Irish fighter McGregor (22-6-0) goes head-to-head against American Max Holloway (27-9-0) in a marquee rematch. It’s scheduled for five rounds.
On Saturday, July 11, UFC 329: McGregor vs. Holloway takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main card is set to begin at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
UFC 329 finds the return of Conor McGregor to the octagon after five years out of the ring. Although McGregor is the underdog in the main event, fans are excited to see “The Notorious” come back to the UFC — if only just for one more match.
Meanwhile, the main event is also a rematch between McGregor and Holloway. The pair first squared off against each other during UFC Fight Night 26 in 2013. While Holloway lost that contest nearly 13 years ago, he is the favorite to claim victory (and a bit of revenge) during UFC 329.
