Trujillo defends the BKB heavyweight title in the main event carrying an 8-0 promotional record with every win a first-round knockout. Gamboa is the bigger name on the card. The Cuban won flyweight gold at the 2004 Athens Olympics and later unified the WBA and IBF featherweight titles, and this is his bare-knuckle debut. BKB fights inside the Trigon, a three-sided cage with 60-degree corners rather than a ring.
Duran Jr. is not a newcomer to BKB. He fought for the promotion in 2025 in a battle with Joshua Sikes at BYB 37. Duran won the fight by second-round TKO.
