Everyone, look how open-minded I am: I’m spotlighting a demo for a game I’m not personally interested in. Nobel Peace Prizes, FIFA Peace Prizes, Pepsi sponsorships, surely all mine now that I’ve pointed out Flask – a darkly comedic deckbuilding autobattler, with scratchy hand-drawn art by Danish pencil warlock John Kenn Mortensen – has a playable preview on Steam.

McMurtry Spéirling Pure Lets You Put the Famous Fan Car and Track-Focused EV in Your Garage

  • The McMurtry Spéirling Pure is the production version of the famous electric prototype race cars that featured underside fans to set records.
  • McMurty claims the 986-hp rear-drive EV can hit 60 mph in under 1.6 seconds on its way to a 190-mph top speed, with up to 4400 pounds of downforce on demand.
  • The Spéirling Pure will cost about $1.3 million when it goes on sale sometime later this year.

When the McMurtry Spéirling's two underbody fans spin at up to 23,000 rpm, they shoot air out of the back of the single-seat track-only hypercar, creating a sound that's more like an F18 fighter jet than a nearly silent EV. While prototypes of McMurtry's electric "fan car" have been dropping jaws and setting records since 2022, the automaker has finally revealed a production model called the Spéirling Pure that features 95 percent new parts.

1992 Mazda 929 Test: A Real Sweetheart

From the February 1992 issue of Car and Driver.

Over the years, when the subject was a particularly evocative and toothsome automobile, car writers have regularly careened off the road and into hyperbolic comparisons to beautiful women. Maybe they were on to something. For sure, this new Mazda 929 is sensuously proportioned, seductively curved, and so sumptuously appointed inside that all your nerve endings want to get naked and cavort on the plump forms of flawless leather. And, as happens with a beautiful woman, being in the presence of all this pulchritude tends to make a guy a little sappy. You keep thinking about the incredible rightness of shapes and feeling wave after wave of electric euphoria. Wow! Occasionally you stumble over reality, uncover a personality quirk, something she does that bugs you. But pretty soon your mind has snapped back to its dreamy reveries and you're happy just being in the same picture with such...oh man!

Microsoft Just Proved A Point About Search Today

The company that owns a major web index just documented, in its own product, that ranking a page and citing a passage are different jobs. Web IQ arriving at Build on June 2, and AI citation data showing up inside Bing Webmaster Tools earlier this year, were not surprises. As I know well, having built the modern version of Webmaster Tools, the reporting was always going to follow the answer once answers were being generated rather than ranked, and a tool that only ever described the blue links was always going to be lonely. The open question was never whether the citation signal would surface. It was what a platform’s own reporting would, and would not, be able to show you once it did.

A price bump's also incoming

Co-op Viking survival game Valheim's 1.0 release is set for this September, bringing with it a fearsome final biome, the Deep North. Though, developers Iron Gate have now confirmed that it won't include any much-requested updates to oceans on top of that, while refusing to offer a conclusive answer as to how long the game'll keep on getting updates once it's out in full.
